Important Reminders for Active Sisters Attending Sessions:

  • Purpose: Cultivate quality Omega women.

  • Respect: Always be respectful towards the Prospective New Members (PNMs) and mindful of the process.

  • Communication: Do not interrupt or disrespect any sister during a session.

  • Focus: Teach PNMs to listen to and respond to the sister who first addressed them, rather than to the one speaking more loudly or assertively.

  • Leadership: The Educator is in charge of the session, and their direction should be followed.

Beat the Mid-Semester Slump

  • March is when the motivation to do well starts to dip, but don’t let your workload pile up! Try the 5-minute rule. If a task feels overwhelming, commit to just 5 minutes. Once you start, you’ll likely keep going. Every small step counts!

Study Smarter, Not Harder

  • Instead of cramming, use active recall and spaced repetition. Quiz yourself on key concepts instead of passively rereading notes. Apps like Quizlet can help keep important info fresh without marathon study sessions.

Romanticize Your Study Sessions

  • Make studying feel less like a chore! Light a candle, grab a cute drink, and put on a study playlist. Creating a cozy, aesthetic workspace can help you stay focused and actually enjoy getting things done.

Reminder: The GPA for the Spring 2025 has been temporarily rolled back to a 2.5, however, please remember that this is not the goal!
