National Board Overview

Katherine Granja was initiated into the Almighty Alpha Chapter of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority Inc. in Spring 2019. During her undergraduate career at Rutgers University-- New Brunswick, Kat served as the President, Vice President, and Public Relations Officer. Kat served the campus community as RU4Kids Liaison for Embrace Kids Foundation. Kat graduated cum laude in 2021 as a triple major in Social Work, Criminal Justice, and Latino & Caribbean Studies. In 2022, Kat graduated sum cum laude with her Master of Social Work with a Certification in Promoting Child & Adolescent Well-Being.

Post-graduation, Kat continued to support the organization by staying involved as an active alumna. Kat currently lives in Middlesex County, where she works as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Adjunct Professor at Middlesex County College. She is also currently pursuing her Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) at Monmouth University. Kat enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, building Legos, and shopping!

Sherry Brown was initiated into the Thunderous Theta Chapter of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. in Spring 2002. Sherry has remained committed to serving our sisterhood through intentional leadership, mentorship, and meaningful engagement. Sherry earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Kean University, and her P-3 Teaching Certification from Bloomfield College. Sherry is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership (Principal & Supervisor Certification) at our Phi Chapter– Felician University.

Within Omega Phi Chi, Sherry proudly serves as the National First Vice President of Alumnae Affairs, and previously served as the Director of Leadership & Programming for the Alumnae Association. Professionally, Sherry has 23 years of experience in education and currently serves as a Preschool Intervention & Referral Specialist (PIRS), supporting educators, students, and families through early intervention, coaching, and collaborative problem-solving.

Outside of her professional and sorority service, Sherry is a published children's author, event stylist, entrepreneur, and creative visionary who loves bringing meaningful ideas to life. In her free time, Sherry enjoys spending quality time with my husband and four children, creating memorable experiences that continue to bring us together.

Gianna Flores was initiated into the Innovative Nu Chapter of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. in Spring 2019. Gianna earned her Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University–Newark in 2023, majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies.

Throughout her time in Omega Phi Chi, Gianna has remained dedicated to strengthening the organization at both the undergraduate and national levels. Gianna has served as Public Relations Chair (2019), Chapter President (2020–2021), Recruitment Chair (2020–2023), and currently serves on the National Board of Directors as the National Second Vice President of Undergraduate Affairs. Gianna is passionate about chapter development, leadership education, recruitment, member engagement, and creating meaningful experiences that empower undergraduate sisters across the organization.

Professionally, Gianna works in Traffic Enforcement for the City of Jersey City, supporting municipal operations and public service initiatives. Gianna also serves as a Youth Ambassador for the Jersey City Puerto Rican Heritage, Arts & Culture Committee, helping organize community events and advocate for cultural engagement. In her free time, Gianna enjoys traveling, playing sports, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Kelly Banks was initiated into the Ravishing Rho Chapter of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority Inc. in Spring 2019, where she later graduated in 2020 with her Bachelor’s degree in Business at Cal State Dominguez Hills. Deeply committed to leadership, Kelly served her chapter as both Treasurer and President, and later took her dedication to the national stage as the National Treasurer from 2022 to 2024.

Professionally, Kelly’s passion for education led her from a role as an Academic Interventionist to her current promotion as a Learning Facilitator, where she oversees the Southern Region of the ISANA Academies after-school program. Outside of her career, Kelly holds a degree in culinary arts and loves spending her free time baking, reading, and diving into DIY projects. Kelly is also a proud pet parent to two beloved cats whom she’s raised since they were just two weeks old.

Bianca Cribeiro was initiated into the Golden Gamma Chapter of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. in Spring 2016. Bianca earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2016 at New Jersey City University, her Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Higher Education in Spring 2021, and is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Within Omega Phi Chi, Bianca has proudly served three terms on the Alumnae Association Board, including two terms as Public Relations Chair and one term as Fundraising Chair. Professionally, Bianca currently serves as the Assistant Director of TRIO Student Support Services, where she supports student success through leadership, advocacy, and student development initiatives. Bianca’s professional experience is rooted in higher education, organizational leadership, and creating meaningful opportunities for student growth and engagement.

Outside of work and the Sorority, Bianca enjoys cycling, dancing, and spending quality time with her sisters by exploring new food spots and creating new experiences together. Bianca has also recently started taking salsa classes and loves expressing her creativity through fashion by reimagining pieces already in her closet.

Christine Rosado was initiated into the Eminent Epsilon Chapter of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority Inc. in Fall 2010. Christine graduated from William Patterson University with a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and in Spanish, Language, and Culture. During her undergraduate years, Christine served as the Lynx President, Chapter Vice President, Public Relations Officer, and New Member Educator during the Fall 2013 semester. Christine served as the Spanish Club President and, for many years, built community as a Resident Assistant.

After eleven years in the education field, Christine is currently pursuing her Master's in Educational Leadership. As an alumna, Christine served as the Public Relations Director for the Alumnae Association, and as an Assistant to the New Member Educator in 2026.

In her free time, Christine is committed to service: teaching free Spanish lessons at her local library, helping lead school initiatives, and mentoring youth through various organizations. Christine enjoys being creative, spending time in nature, and, of course, spending time with family and friends.

Belinda Fisher was initiated into the Majestic Mu Chapter of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. in Spring 2017. Belinda earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Montclair State University in 2020 and later completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Messiah University in Pennsylvania.

Within Omega Phi Chi, Belinda proudly served on the National Board of Directors as National Secretary from 2025–2026 and currently serves as the National Risk Management Officer for the 2026–2027 term. Professionally, Belinda is a counselor at Cornerstone Counseling Ministries in Pennsylvania, where she specializes in Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Christ-centered counseling integration. She also serves as the Social Media Marketing Chairperson for the 2026–2027 term of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association's Division of Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling (PASERVIC). Belinda is an active member of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association and the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International.

In her free time, Belinda enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, traveling, trying new restaurants as a self-proclaimed foodie, going to church, watching sports with her husband, and making memories with her family.

Morghann Sims was initiated into the Sophisticated Sigma Chapter of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority in Winter 2014, and is proud to be the Founding Sister #4. Morghann earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work with a specialty in pre-health from SUNY Buffalo College in 2015, and later completed both her Master of Social Work (MSW) and Master of Public Health (MPH) at New York University in 2018.

Throughout her Omega Phi Chi journey, Morghann has had the privilege of serving as Chapter President (2014–2015), Regional Chair (2018–2020), the Alumnae Association Undergraduate-Alumnae Relations Chair (2024–2026) and now the Affiliate Officer Parliamentarian on the National Board of Directors. Professionally, Morghann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over ten years of experience in mental health, leadership development, public speaking, social justice advocacy, and public health. Morghann’s work spans individual counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, community engagement, research, policy development, and mentoring, with a passion for empowering others to achieve personal and professional growth.

In her free time, Morghann enjoys creating memorable events, tackling DIY projects, traveling, continuously learning new skills/experiences and loves being her bubbly jovial self.

Victoria "Tori" was initiated into the Phenomenal Phi Chapter of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority Inc. in Winter 2015 as Founding Sister #4 of Phi Chapter at Felician University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Journalism and Media and a minor in Criminal Justice from Felician University in May 2016. Tori later earned her Master of Science in Education in Student Affairs and College Counseling from Monmouth University in May 2018 and looks forward to completing her Doctorate in Education in the future.

Since her initiation, Tori has remained deeply committed to Omega Phi Chi, serving in a variety of leadership roles. As an undergraduate, Tori served as Chapter President, and as an alumna, she has proudly served as Alumna Advisor, New Member Educator, Assistant New Member Educator, and previously as a member of the Alumnae Association. Tori is excited to continue her work with Expansion, which she began in February 2025, and is honored to help welcome and develop future Sisters.

With more than ten years of experience in higher education, Tori currently serves as the Assistant Director of Academic Advising at the community college level. She is passionate about supporting students as they navigate their educational journeys and achieve their goals.

Outside of her professional career and sorority service, Tori enjoys being a mother to her daughter, traveling with friends and family, and enjoys living at the Jersey Shore all season long.

Nelgie “Nèl” Lauredent was initiated into the Almighty Alpha Chapter of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. in Spring 2021. Nèl is a very proud Double Alumna of Rutgers University-- New Brunswick, having earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in History and a concentration in Medieval Studies and Culture in 2021. As a first-generation student, Nèl was the first in her family to earn a Masters Degree with a Master of Education in College Student Affairs from the Rutgers Graduate School of Education in 2023, concentrating in Student Engagement and Student Retention within Higher Education.

With a love for Advising, Leadership, Professional Development, and Visual Communication, Nèl has served as a Co-Public Relations Chair in 2021, writes and develops testimonials for OPC, became the New Member Educator for Alpha Chapter's Spring 2026 Class, and currently serves as the Sorority's National Public Relations Officer. Professionally, Nèl is a Creative Strategist and Designer, supporting local artists and non-profit organizations with refining their stakeholder engagement strategies to be cohesive, authentic, and accessible.

Nèl’s favorite hobby is to have hobbies; you can find Nèl writing poetry Downtown, networking in Midtown, volunteering in Harlem, or hiking Uptown in NYC. Nèl loves to catwalk and advocates for Mental Health on 5th Ave.
