The Alumnae Board of Directors are the governing body that run the Alumnae Association. They are strategic in providing resources, networking opportunities, and access to alumnae and professional sisters throughout the organization.

Kalyn Sosa was initiated in Fall 2012 at Pi Chapter, Sam Houston State University. She graduated with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. She also has an M.S in Forensic Sciences. As an undergraduate, she held the positions of President, Treasurer, and Academic Dean. Kalyn is located in Houston, TX. She works as a Senior Project Coordinator.

Clarissa Perez was initiated as the Alpha Class of Mu Chapter, Montclair State University in Spring 2007. As an undergraduate member, she served as Chapter President, Public Relations Officer and Dean of Recruitment. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and minor in International Studies. Clarissa has held leadership positions on the National Board of Directors, serving as the Director of Recruitment and Director of Public Relations. She resides in Northern New Jersey and has spent the past 10 years working as a fundraising events manager in the nonprofit sector for reputable organizations working to combat issues involving social justice and the environment.

Martha Ugwu was initiated in Spring 2018 at Alpha Chapter, Rutgers University - New Brunswick. As a member of the undergraduate chapter, she held the position of Public Relations Chair. She graduated in Spring 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies and Cinema Studies. She currently works in television as a production assistant for NJ PBS. Martha resides in Northern Jersey. This is her first leadership role on the Alumnae Board of Directors.

Diana Rodriguez was initiated in Fall 2017 at Omicron Chapter, Fairleigh Dickinson University - Teaneck. She has a degree in Criminal Justice. As an undergraduate, she served as Academic Dean. She is also the Alumnae Advisor for Psi Chapter, Fairleigh Dickinson University - Madison.

Ximena Duran was initiated in Fall 2015 at Gamma Chapter, New Jersey City University. She served as Vice President, Treasurer, Public Relations, Secretary and Social Chair as an undergraduate. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Anthropology. She currently works as a Match Support Specialist for Big Brothers, Big Sisters and resides in Northern New Jersey. She enjoys vacations and visited Spain and France on a solo trip.

Brea Brown was initiated in Fall 2015 at Alpha Chapter, Rutgers University - New Brunswick. As an undergraduate, she held the position of Treasurer. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. She currently lives in South Jersey. She recently returned from working on contract with the South Korean Government teaching English and creating new English institutions. She is fluent in Korean, as well.

Daniella Ortiz was initiated in Fall 2015 at Omicron Chapter, Fairleigh Dickinson University - Teaneck. She served as Public Relations chair and Dean of Recruitment as an undergraduate. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Social Work. She’s located in Northern NJ and is owner of @styleandchicsalon. She loves baking and trying out new recipes.

DEHOYOS
Ashley was initiated in Summer 2012 at Pi Chapter, Sam Houston State University. Her past positions include Chapter President and Vice President. She was also New Member Educator for Spring 2013 and Fall 2013. She graduated with a BFA in Photography/Art History & Critical Theory. She also has a MFA in Curatorial Practice from Maryland Institute College of Art. She currently serves as the Curator at DiverseWorks in Houston, TX, where she organizes a full range of visual, performing, and public art programming. Ashley was also Alumnae Director of Public Relations in the past.

Kristen Simon was initiated in Fall 2016 at Tau Chapter, Hofstra University. While there, she served as President, Vice President, and Dean of Recruitment. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations & Rhetoric. She works as an ESL teacher and is located in Morristown, NJ, where she is on the board for BLM Morristown. She is also a current member of Pink Reign.

Vanessa Carthell was initiated in Spring 2008 at Lambda Chapter, Arizona State University, where she served as President as an undergraduate sister. She has a Master’s of Social Work and currently works in Public Housing.

Marisol Rodriguez was initiated in Fall 1998 at Alpha Chapter, Rutgers University - New Brunswick. As a member of the undergrad chapter, she held the position of Secretary. She graduated with a double major of Communication and Sociology in Spring 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts. She enjoyed an 18-year career at Prudential Financial holding various roles in their Retirement, Advisors, and International businesses. Marisol resides in Northern Jersey with her son, daughter, and their two cats. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at the USO Center at the Newark Airport supporting our military service members.
